The Role

The Acceleration & Growth Team (AGT) is Lumen’s commercial organization, responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering differentiated customer outcomes across Lumen’s segments. Role Overview 

The Lead Analyst, Portfolio Management is a senior individual contributor responsible for coordinating portfolio governance, initiative intake, prioritization, and execution activities across the AGT portfolio. 

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Portfolio Management, this role supports portfolio planning and governance processes, maintains visibility into initiative progress, risks, dependencies, and key milestones, and helps ensure consistent execution across the portfolio. The role partners closely with initiative owners and stakeholders to support operating rhythms, governance forums, business priorities, and special projects as needs evolve. 

This role is structured for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. CET working hours and is a critical member of AGT's Poland-based Portfolio Management team. The position supports portfolio operations, governance, execution consistency, and leadership priorities across the organization.

The Main Responsibilities

Portfolio Governance & Execution
  • Manage portfolio activities for assigned initiatives, programs, or value streams, including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and status updates.
  • Maintain portfolio records and coordinate initiative onboarding, updates, scope changes, and closures.
  • Support portfolio intake, prioritization, and governance processes across AGT.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and actions requiring leadership attention.
  • Partner with initiative owners to drive follow-through on commitments, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Maintain visibility into portfolio performance, execution progress, and cross-functional dependencies.
Governance & Operating Rhythm
  • Support portfolio reviews, initiative check-ins, leadership updates, and governance forums.
  • Prepare and maintain governance materials, action logs, meeting outputs, and portfolio documentation.
  • Help ensure portfolio management processes are consistent, transparent, and aligned with AGT standards.
  • Support continuous improvement of portfolio management practices, tools, and operating rhythms.
  • Coordinate follow-up actions and accountability across portfolio stakeholders.
Business Support
  • Support high-priority initiatives, special projects, and emerging business needs as directed by leadership.
  • Provide operational support for transformation efforts, organizational initiatives, and cross-functional programs.
  • Coordinate activities across stakeholders to help remove execution barriers and maintain momentum on critical priorities.
  • Support planning, readiness, communications, and governance activities for key business initiatives.
  • Assist with ad hoc business operations and portfolio activities in support of AGT leadership priorities. 

 

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in portfolio management, PMO, transformation, business operations, program coordination, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex cross-functional initiatives and portfolios.
  • Strong organizational, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise transformation, PMO, portfolio management, or governance functions.
  • Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management practices, governance frameworks, operating rhythms, strategic location, workforce and cost optimization efforts.
  • Experience in technology, telecommunications, strategic consulting environments, XaaS, Cloud Service Providers or related industries.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization.
