The Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and creative Director of Marketing to lead content development and storytelling support for our Business Development (BD) organization. Based in Seattle, this role will serve as the key marketing partner for the BD team, Product Team and Field marketing team—building high-impact, 1:1 account-based marketing content crafting compelling persona-aligned messaging, distilling technical concepts, and developing messaging & content that provides clarity around our solutions and customer outcomes to enable the sales team helping accelerate pipeline growth and deepen customer engagement.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Develop Content Strategy for Strategic Accounts: Own and execute a scalable content strategy that supports key accounts and industry verticals, leveraging insights from BD and Product teams.
  • Drive Persona-Based Storytelling: Craft compelling, insight-driven messaging and storytelling tailored to buyer personas and aligned to account-specific priorities and opportunities.
  • Lead Account and Solution aligned Content Creation: Produce high-impact content for Sales plays, including executive decks, value narratives, whitepapers, use case briefs, and customer-facing presentations.
  • Create Sales enablement assets: Collaborate with BD and Product teams to build sales assets (conversation guides, one-pagers, email templates) that support 1:1 and 1:few outreach.
  • Integrate with Campaigns & Field Marketing: Partner closely with Field Marketing to embed messaging into targeted campaigns and track performance metrics across various channels.
  • Leverage Customer and Market Insights: Use buyer research, competitive insights, and industry trends to inform messaging, content direction, and storytelling frameworks.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B Enterprise marketing, preferably in technology or SaaS
  • Proven expertise in content marketing, storytelling, and content creation
  • Experience partnering with product teams to create value driven narratives and assets
  • Familiarity with sales stages, GTM motions, and the B2B enterprise buyer journey
  • Excellent copywriting and messaging skills—clear, concise, persuasive
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and storytelling—creating visual, compelling BD presentations
  • Background in product marketing, technical marketing or BD-aligned marketing
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Self-starter mindset, Detail oriented and with the maturity to operate independently and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions
  • Located in or near Seattle with the ability to attend in-person team or client meetings 2-3 times per week

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

 

Location Based Pay Ranges:

 

$163,993 - $218,657 in these state: WA.
