The Role

 The Senior Lead Program Manager manages the solution development and deployment of telecom, professional services, Cyber and IT solutions for Large Systems Integrators and Federal Government customers.  

The Main Responsibilities

  • Works with Sales and Engineering teams to gather and validate customer requirements as needed. 
  • Develops project proposals and plans to comply with contract and RFP commitments; this includes determining schedules, funding, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, risk management plans, and allotment of available resources to various phases within projects. 
  • Presents and reviews comprehensive project management plans to clients. 
  • Manages customer requirements and expectations. 
  • Oversees monthly and quarterly client service performance meetings; this includes generating service delivery, service assurance, and process assessment and improvement reports. 
  • Ensures SLAs meet (or exceed) client expectations. 
  • Ensures systems, processes, and methodologies are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control, and support of service delivery. 
  • Identifies areas for improvement driven by data and reporting and working with internal teams to implement fixes with urgency. 
  • Involvement in order entry, dispatch teams, conduit teams, fiber teams, power teams, real estate teams, data center teams, testing teams, equipment teams, and 911 validation teams 
  • Prompt SOW creation and submission, along with permit, OSP, KMZ and DLR information 
  • Provide Lead PMO with tracking worksheet and project progress/plans for special constructions 
  • Interact with multiple internal departments based on project requirements and circuit types, including order entry, cross-functional assistance with Type-2 orders, and vendor configuration 
  • Establish new processes where needed to expedite delivery of customer service 
  • Role is subject to annual review for value add to the program and performance of candidates.  End customer can request removal for lack of performance or at the point agreed upon milestones have been met.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree. Typically, with 8+ years of experience.  6+ years of experience with Master's Degree. Program and/or Project Management experience in the telecommunications industry. 
  • Direct customer experience with increasingly responsible project management experience required with an emphasis on technical capabilities preferred. 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing multiple strategic, complex projects with successful results (scope, schedule, and budget) simultaneously. 
  • Experience defining and documenting processes and driving continuous improvement to processes via process measurement/metrics. 
  • Requires prior Public Sector Contract or Program Management Experience, Knowledge and experience with government customers and familiarity with government contracts. 
  • PMP Certification desired. 
  • ITIL Certification desired.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Word. 

  

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

 

Location Based Pay Ranges:

 

$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
