The Role
The Senior Lead Internal Communications Manager will be a leader in creating and successfully executing innovative communication strategies that drive business and culture transformation within the Enterprise Operations and Finance organizations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, highly collaborative individual who will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and will own the strategic creation of engaging messaging and successful communication campaigns.
The Main Responsibilities
- Own and drive the creation, implementation, and adoption of internal communication plans and campaigns. Lead with creativity and innovation, with the ability to identify trends and grasp new ideas and concepts.
- Provide strategic leadership to manage the development and distribution of compelling and business-critical content across internal communication channels, with an emphasis on the Enterprise Operations and Finance organizations.
- Develop and execute internal communication plans and campaigns that support strategic objectives and foster a positive workplace culture within Enterprise Operations and Finance.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, providing data-driven feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with VPs and senior leadership across the organization, acting as a trusted advisor on internal communication matters.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's brand identity, tone of voice, and style guidelines in all communications.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in internal communication and employee engagement.
- Work in a team environment, influencing others to achieve results and supporting senior executives with external communication efforts as needed.
What We Look For in a Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in internal communication, preferably supporting operations and/or finance within a large organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful internal communication strategies and campaigns.
- Keen understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful internal communication strategies and campaigns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for various audiences and channels.
- Strong sense of detail and urgency, with the ability to motivate others to deliver strong executive communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Experience in working with senior stakeholders and building trust with senior executives (VPs and above).
- Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to drive results, influence diverse stakeholders, and own the strategic guidance and tracking of critical cross-functional programs and projects.
- Creative and innovative, with the ability to generate new and fresh ideas for internal communication.
- Inquisitive, with the ability to identify trends and grasp new ideas and concepts.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
