The Role

Lumen is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sourcing Specialist I - Talent Acquisition to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in recruitment, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership hiring and will be responsible for supporting our recruiting strategies and initiatives while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. 

The Main Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand staffing needs, particularly for mid-to-senior level and leadership roles.
  • Develop and refine job descriptions tailored to leadership positions and strategic roles.
  • Source and engage with high-caliber candidates through various channels, including executive search platforms, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates, with a focus on leadership competencies and cultural fit.
  • Conduct in-depth phone interviews and talent assessments for leadership roles.
  • Coordinate and manage interview processes involving senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract diverse and high-impact leadership talent.
  • Support employer branding efforts to position Lumen as an employer of choice for top-tier professionals.
  • Represent Lumen at career fairs, leadership forums, and recruitment events.
  • Deliver exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership hiring or executive recruitment.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and candidates.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for talent acquisition and organizational growth.
